Description:
* You will contribute to software development effort that will ship on thousands of devices on roll out.
* You must be a fast learner to pick up new technologies as required by the development effort.
* Must be able to see the big picture and drive the development of a platform that is robust and extensible.
* Position includes a flexible schedule. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
* Telecommuting possible for the right candidate, if relocation is not an option.
Requirements
- 3+ years of programming experience in Python (on Linux/BSD platforms).
- Competent in Pythonic idioms, coding styles and best practices
- Familiarity with Python standard library and popular libraries related to web development [any of the following: Django, Flask, Pyramid]
- Experience in interfacing with relational and non-relational databases, Writing shell scripts, daemons and data manipulation programs using Python .
- Past contributions to open source projects is highly valued.
