At this time of the year in a pleasant, warm San Francisco, it was the right time to be brainstorming on designing for streams of shared, interactive and cloud-based data.
Web 2.0 Expo, the leading annual multi-track conference on how to build the next gen Web and its apps, was on from March 28 to 31 at the three-level Moscone West exhibition hall in San Francisco, CA. Co-produced by O’Reilly Media, Inc. and UBM TechWeb, the Web 2.0 Expo brought designers, developers, engineers, entrepreneurs and startups together. Now in its fifth year, the Web 2.0 Expo is still a place to share ideas about mobile networks, connected devices, and what the Web will become next.
DCKAP was at the Web 2.0 Expo, in the company of stalwarts and mavericks of the Web world. The geniuses and the geeks were all there. Folks just thronged the lounge on the expo floor. And there was a wonderful turnout of visitors from all spheres and from all over the world.
A few bright minds were seen working their notebooks under the cloudless California sky outside, tinkering with the data living in the Web’s cloud.
Awesome apps were showcased and some very so-tomorrow products debuted.
