The latest version of Joomla 1.5.14 is out. This contains fixes for two material bugs and one low level security issue. The best part of this release is rather than normal wait for 6-8 weeks release cycle this has been out in just 8 days. It has been advised that if core template overrides have been modified, backups must be taken before upgrading to this latest version.

Problem: It was possible to bypass timeout protection against sending automated emails
Affected installations: All 1.5.x installs prior to and including 1.5.13 are affected
Solution: Patches have been released from this new version wherein this problem is taken care of.
