Garneau, a Canadian road racing, track cyclist and cyclewear manufacturer planned to develop an online store for selling customized outdoor apparels under a new brand called Connec. After the discovery phase, the DCKAP team recommended Shopify as it helps to manage the technology side of things, while Connec can focus on other parts of their business.
The DCKAP team worked alongside Connec, from Garneau, a Canadian company, to help their customers choose and customize apparels that are in harmony with their needs and tastes. The Shopify store was built to reflect the brand image of Connec’s ‘back to the wild’ tradition.
APPAREL CUSTOMIZATION USING PRODUCTIMIZE
The key goal of the website is to provide the customer the freedom to customize or configure their hunting apparels by selecting the colors based on the season and upload their logo along with their initials or name. Every product has its minimum purchase quantity with at least four weeks of delivery time.
MULTI LINGUAL WEBSITE (English & French)
Having the ability to communicate to the customers in their language will undoubtedly create better awareness of the brand and product. The team analyzed and integrated a third party app to cater to the needs of the Canadian customers. Customers have the choice of viewing the website in English or French.
DRAWING INSPIRATION FROM CUSTOMIZED JERSEYS
Customized apparel is one of the simplest ways to inspire and effectively increase the confidence. One another key requirement was to resell custom-designed jerseys to other customers directly. The purchase process is simple – the customer needs just to choose a design and buy.
