Coronado DC is a leading distributor in the US of a wide variety of tactical apparel, footwear, custom ceremonial gear and equipment, shipboard parts, office supplies, and more. Partnered with leading manufacturers and most popular brands, they provide a comprehensive inventory of products.
Coronado DC had its eCommerce platform built upon the robust BigCommerce and were using P21 to manage their backend activities seamlessly. Apart from the mentioned two, they also integrated a modern product information management solution, DCKAP PIM, to manage and maintain their data at all the touchpoints.
However, a prime issue they were encountering was the Product Sync where they had more than 300,000 SKUs that had to be migrated without any data loss at any end. And also wanted to connect their data points which would sync the details of customers, products, orders, prices, and more, between eCommerce and ERP.
Coronado DC faced difficulty syncing data from P21 to BigCommerce. The P21 data format did not match with the BigCommerce format which led to increased manual efforts. Multiple vendors had multiple data formats making it difficult to import data each time. Syncing multiple vendor data to Bigcommerce was getting lagged while time and money were being spent on repetitive tasks. These manual efforts were prone to errors and having no system in place to identify and correct them, made the job more challenging.
