Year In Review

Like many growing companies, we evolve with every passing year, and 2025 was another big year in doing so. One learning that rose above the rest was to not do too many things and instead relentlessly focus on the product. I’ll be honest—this wasn’t an easy lesson to learn. As a founder, there’s always a temptation to chase every opportunity, to build every feature customers ask for, to expand into every adjacent space. But saying “no” to good ideas so we could say “yes” to great execution – that’s what transformed us this year.

So what does that focus look like in practice? DCKAP is an ERP-First Integration platform for Distributors and Manufacturers. While other companies were building broad iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solutions, we carved out something more specific. For what we do, defining ourselves as an iPaaS was far too vague. ERP-First Integration captures what we actually do: place a distributor or manufacturer’s ERP at the true heart of their operations, ensuring accurate, real-time data that keeps entire teams on the same page. In marketing terms, you might call this category creation. We call it clarity.

Key Product Highlights

As an integration platform, our systems moved massive volumes of data reliably for our customers this past year. Here’s what that looked like:

• 36 million synchronizations – Every time a customer’s inventory updates, an order processes, or pricing changes, our platform ensures those changes flow to every connected system automatically.

• 6.2 billion record transfers – That means individual data points—product SKUs, customer addresses, order line items—all moved reliably between systems.

• 170 million real-time calls (↑9% vs 2024) – When a sales rep needs live inventory data or a customer checks order status, those instant requests get handled in real-time.

• 2.4 billion API calls (↑11% vs 2024) – That’s the technical backbone making different software systems talk to each other, and keeping pace with our customers as they grow year-over-year.

2025 Product Roadmap

Our product focus this year centered on three areas: flexibility, reach, and reliability.

More Flexibility

We introduced workflow variables and inline transformations, giving customers the power to customize integrations without external processing. Systems(v2) brought major scalability improvements—users can now upgrade or downgrade systems as needed, and system builders can publish multiple versions for different use cases.

Broader Reach

10 new systems joined our platform, including Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Adobe Commerce. This expansion means we can serve more customers where they already work. We also launched DCKAP EDI to enable standardized, automated data exchange with trading partners—a critical need for distributors managing complex supplier relationships.

Regional Reliability

A new Canada region instance went live to support regional customers, improve performance, and meet data residency requirements. Reliability means being close to our customers both in service and in infrastructure.

We also began AI experiments exploring how to make our platform even more efficient and our support even more responsive. More on this to come!

Expanding Partnerships

Great integrations don’t exist in isolation—they’re part of a larger ecosystem. This year, we deepened our partnerships with eCommerce & ERP platform providers, Agencies, and other solutions that help us serve our customers more completely. When a distributor needs payment processing integrated or requires ERP implementation support alongside their integration work, we can connect them with trusted partners who share our commitment to getting it right.

These partnerships mean our customers get comprehensive support across their entire tech stack, not just the integration layer. DCKAP takes pride in what these partnerships deliver: better solutions, fewer headaches, and operations that actually work together.

The Driven By DCKAP Podcast

It was a another year full of amazing guests and insightful episodes we all can learn from. The 2025 season of the Driven By DCKAP podcast exceeded expectations in every way—crossing 2,000 subscribers and surpassing 100,000 views on our YouTube channel.

This year, we sharpened our focus. We brought fresh voices and diverse expertise to our audience—leaders from across manufacturing, distribution, and technology who don’t just talk about industry trends, but share the impactful kind of insights that help listeners navigate their own challenges, inspire their teams, and shape the future of their companies.

A personal highlight had to be hearing a listener call the podcast “a part-time MBA course.” That’s the bar we’re aiming for.

I’m grateful for all our guests, their teams, and the talented team here behind the scenes who make every episode possible. Thanks also to the industry experts who joined me in our short-form topical videos on LinkedIn this year and all those who watched—proof that there’s appetite for conversations in multiple formats.

The Extended Community

Community goes beyond our customer base—it includes the students, organizations, and even the wildlife we’re committed to supporting.

This month marks an exciting milestone: the inauguration of the DCKAP Incubation Center at the Government College of Technology (GCT), Coimbatore. This partnership aims to foster innovation and give students hands-on experience solving real technology challenges. Kudos to the team who transformed this idea into reality, working closely with students from the start.

This year also marks the third anniversary of the DCKAP Palli initiative. We started this as a means to offer bright minds from economically challenged backgrounds a chance at learning and growing their careers. Many congratulations to the deserving candidates from the new 2025 cohort: I look forward to everything they’ll be set to achieve in the near future.

Ramu and Rhine also continue to shine as celebrity members of the DCKAP Community. The visitors who have come to any of our booths at industry events would recognize them from our much celebrated rhino plushes, but both Ramu and Rhine are also very real rhinos that call the Arignar Anna Zoological Park home. They have been part of the DCKAP community since World Rhino Day 2021, when we first adopted them.

Investing in Our People

DCKAP is a community of readers, learners, and travelers, and 2025 reinforced that culture. My kudos to members of our Community for upskilling by experimenting in different roles, through self-directed learning, or taking up sponsored Stanford Continuous Learning courses. These investments within the community continue to pay off, as we shape new leaders from within.

It was a big year for travel as well. We saw many new faces achieving new travel milestones, meeting with clients, gaining new understanding, and representing DCKAP proudly to the industry. My special thanks to the customers and partners who took the time to meet with the team. The insights from these meetings have proven to be invaluable.

Finally, our annual team gathering offsite—lovingly called “Homecoming”—ventured beyond the US and India for the first time this year, bringing the entire team to Sri Lanka. A first stamp on the passport for many, this trip was definitely one of the major highlights for us this year.

Looking Ahead at 2026

In the new year, our focus remains clear: solving integration challenges for distributors and manufacturers. The main lesson from this past year in review—do fewer things, better—will continue to guide us.

Integration is no longer a nice-to-have; it’s a must-have for businesses that want to operate efficiently, scale sustainably, and stay competitive. We’ll keep our commitment to being the best at what we do: ERP-First Integration.

We’ll continue investing in our product, deepening partnerships that serve our customers completely, and staying connected to the industry through conversations that matter. The work continues, and the future is bright.

Thank you for being part of this journey, and to the entire DCKAP community for your continued support.

Here’s to 2026.
