They chose to switch from Magento to Evolution X. DCKAP Integrator then acted as a middleware layer connecting DDI Inform ERP with the new EvolutionX ecommerce platform. This allowed both systems to communicate smoothly without disrupting existing operations.

The project involved not just integration, but also a structured data migration. Over 14,000 products were successfully migrated to EvolutionX, along with multiple customer accounts mapped with accurate account numbers. The team was now assured a clean and dependable foundation from day one.

To keep data current and reliable, automated pipelines were set up with frequent sync intervals. Here are the key integration pipelines:

Customer Sync (Batch):
Customer accounts were synced from ERP to EvolutionX, ensuring consistency across platforms.

Product Sync (Batch):
Product data was transferred and maintained from ERP to EvolutionX, creating a complete and accurate online catalog.

Inventory Sync (Batch):
Inventory levels were regularly updated from ERP to EvolutionX, helping prevent stock discrepancies and improving order accuracy.

Sales Order Sync (Batch):
Orders placed on EvolutionX were automatically pushed into the ERP, eliminating manual entry.

Customer-Specific Pricing (Dynamic):
Pricing was dynamically synced, allowing customers to see their exact contracted rates online.

Shipment Updates (Batch):
Shipping and tracking details were sent back to EvolutionX, improving post-purchase visibility.

This end-to-end integration reduced manual effort, improved data accuracy, and created a connected system that supports daily operations. Wichita Industrial Sales now has a more efficient, scalable setup that allows their team to focus on growth instead of managing disconnected systems.
