The inaugural DCKAP Summit officially wrapped on November 12, 2019, at the Sheraton Grand in Los Angeles, California.
The vision was to gather some of the best and the brightest minds in the Digital Commerce Industry to share the latest trends in e-commerce, to help each other carve a path forward, and to open further conversations on the benefits of building relationships and partnerships.
Altogether, DCKAP Summit 2019 was a great success and very well received. Our sincerest thanks to all of our sponsors, speakers, and guests. Without the inspiring and informative sessions, as well as the attentive and receptive audience, it would not have seen the same level of success as it had. Thank you to all who attended! The DCKAP team members that greeted you at the Summit helped to drive the event, though still make up a small portion of the story of its success.
Diverse teams of people were involved and there was a lot of hard work behind the scenes – the venue, delicious food and audio/video entertainment, the design work, marketing efforts and communications throughout the weeks prior – to ensure a fulfilling agenda and smooth-running event.
The scene was set and ready for an early start. Attendees with varied backgrounds and from all across the nation came together in downtown Los Angeles for a full day of informative sessions, beneficial networking, and learning strategic direction for the future.

Celebrating with an LA Kings Game
To close the night, DCKAP hosted a fun-filled post-event gathering at the L.A. Kings versus Minnesota Wild hockey game at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment with cocktails and desserts in VIP style, and the hometown heroes captured the win 2-1. A celebratory night with the reverberating sounds of hockey fandom, ripe with energetic chants and wild beating drums. It was the perfect way to bookend the winning energy of the day.
