At the end of 2019, after learning more about the Acumatica Summit and its alignment with our target audience, DCKAP decided to sponsor this event as our first to attend in 2020. Acumatica ERP delivers adaptable cloud and mobile technology with an all-inclusive user licensing model, enabling a complete, real time view of your business anytime, anywhere. Impressively, Acumatica Summit 2020 is their 12th cloud ERP event.While speaking further with the Acumatica team about the sponsorship, we discussed and reviewed a potential partnership opportunity. After this discussion, in addition to becoming a sponsor, DCKAP signed an exciting new partnership agreement with Acumatica. With their worldwide network of partners, we believe we will be able to power the digital commerce experience with our suite of integrated applications. We are very hopeful that our products Cloras and flexiPIM will show to be very successful within this new venture in particular.

DCKAP was featured as a Gold Sponsor for the Acumatica Summit at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada from January 25 – January 28, 2020. At the heart of the Las Vegas strip, Acumatica created an exciting and open environment, alongside their open ecosystem, for everyone to explore new ideas and strategies in the industry.
Attending Acumatica Summit 2020 was a great learning experience for us as a company, and we are very glad to have been a part of it. We met many great people throughout the event, and we really enjoyed networking during the welcome Reception and the Summit Kick-Off.
One of the big takeaways from the Acumatica Summit was the strength of the partnership Acumatica has established with BigCommerce. Their cultivated relationship and branded cooperation is a testament to the amount of effort both companies have invested on the partnership. Sachin Wadhawan, Sr. Director of Strategic Business Development at BigCommerce, took to the stage to describe the benefits of their alliance.

Jon Roskill, CEO of Acumatica, began his keynote by talking specifically about the Acumatica community, emphasizing that what began with just 35 people in attendance has now grown into the nearly 2,500 people attending the event today. This greatly inspires us to achieve the same kind of growth and sense of community with our own efforts to grow our partnerships and our DCKAP Summit events.

Members of the Acumatica team spoke about different updates and technical advancements within the industry throughout the event. The featured guest speaker was Dr. Robert Ballard – Renowned Ocean Explorer, Scientist, and Discoverer of the Titanic. His immensely interesting talk about what it was like to locate the Titanic and other sunken ships added an intriguing air of discovery and achievement to the summit. He also provided valuable insight and advice for the next generation and #womenintech in particular.

We also had the pleasure of meeting with Josh Fischer, Sr. Product Manager at Acumatica while at the event, whom we had first been introduced to through the team at BigCommerce, who thanked us for becoming partners and for the trust we have in Acumatica. For us, their professionalism and open, forward thinking environment make it easy to appreciate the benefit of working with the Acumatica team.
In all, our time at the conference was very fruitful and provided us with a great learning experience. Now that we have established our partnership, we are excited to be a continuous part of the Acumatica community. This was an important event, as our team members connected with hundreds of attendees and inspiring industry leaders, and we hope it will be an integral partnership for our growth plan.
