May 12 – Partner Summit and Pre-Imagine
May 12, Sunday, the Partner Summit started around 1 PM PST at the Wynn. We all attended the partner summit. Q1 2019 was the biggest quarter ever for Magento. One of the key takeaways from the partner summit is the importance of certifications and how it helps agencies to grow their business.

Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of Vaynermedia was invited as a Keynote speaker for the evening session. In his speech
- He outlined how he successfully outgrew his father’s wine business by running successful email campaigns and how things changed within 1 and a half years.
- He also gave some great insights on LinkedIn and how it can be used to grow business. His book titled “Crushing it” never had anything about LinkedIn, but now things have completely changed, and he sees great value out of LinkedIn.
- He also stressed the importance of content that adds value to the target audience. He believes that stories come in two forms – Entertainment and Education.
- He highlighted why video (less than 1 minute) content is valuable and how this can help reach the maximum number of people in a short span.
- One of his key points is “Don’t follow the pattern, and don’t be afraid to take challenges.”
Later, there was a legendary party at the night club and we had a lot of fun and some small discussions with our partners and customers.
Can the place be more Lit?! Also, one of the nicest things about networking is having a bond beyond business with our partners. Truly a Legendary #MagentoImagine2019 after party. #Magento2 #DigitalCommerce #ecommerce pic.twitter.com/eZ95PJVZl2

May 16 – Day 3
The last day at Imagine 2019 ended with only a few attendees visiting the booth, and it was just the sponsors at the marketplace. We had a few meetings scheduled already which went well, and finally, it was time to say goodbye to Magento Imagine 2019. Also, for the first time, we ran out of all the swags (rhinos and t-shirts).Also, having a huge line of products (Productimize, Cloras, flexiPIM, and QA touch) helped us to build meaningful conversations, not just with the merchants but also with the agencies.Next year Magento Imagine will be a part of the Adobe Summit at Las Vegas. Let’s embrace the change and hope that our best days are yet to come.
Thanks, Magento. It has been an amazing journey so far.
