However, while their customer service is unparalleled with a proud single shipment fill rate over 99.6% boasting of a quick turnaround time, their eCommerce front was still conventional and traditional.We aimed at a migration of data spanning worth seventy years since they have been in the business. ERP Integration Requirements
C-Line built their eCommerce store on Magento and was using P21 ERP to manage their backend activities. However, with no automation for tracking data in place, manual data entry became a time-consuming task for the company which affected their workflow.

Product Information Challenges
C-Line previously had an in-house custom eCommerce with their custom PIM. However, they couldn’t scale up with their platform. We proposed Magento alongside DCKAP PIM which would also offer additional features, making the product data consistent, and also providing connectors to P21 ERP. They also had challenges in making bulk edit operations, handling assets to name a few.
They had to export product data from their ERP manually and update the spreadsheets offline. After converting this to the format supported by Magento, they finally uploaded the file to the store. This process was not only long and recurring, it also ran the risk of missed data or other human errors.
Upgrading to the eCommerce store with the PIM enabled C-Line to keep up with the growing scale of their business. With the PIM in place, the team at C-Line now only needs to update any changes at their ERP. The PIM handles converting the data to the store-supported format and updating the store automatically. Teams can also use the PIM to enrich data pulled from the ERP with images, catalogs, videos, and more before it gets updated at the Magento store. C-Line can thus continue to provide great product content experiences to their customers while saving time and effort.
